Policy and Fees

Schedule

• Summer 2026: May 24 - Aug 7th (only every other week and payments are to paid per lesson)  

• Fall 2026 (16 weeks): Aug 17–Dec 13
  Studio closed Nov 22–28 (Thanksgiving).

• Spring 2027 (16 weeks): Jan 11–May 16
  Studio closed the week of February 21-28 and for Spring Breal the week of March 14-20

• Recitals: December 13 & May 16

Tuition (lessons are once a week)

Duration of lesson is according to age and musical level. Most young beginners will start at 30 minutes

• 30 min —  $40/lesson

• 45 min — $45/lesson

• 60 min — $50/lesson 

Payments & Fees

• TWO OPTIONS: (option 1) Pay in full before the term or (option 2) paid monthly.

  • • 30 min —  $640/semester (option 1) or $160/mo (option 2) ×4mo

    • 45 min — $720/semester (option 1) or $180/mo (option 2) ×4mo

    • 60 min — $800/semester (option 1) or $200/mo (option 2) ×4mo

• $50 materials deposit per academic semester.

• $25 late fee if payment isn’t received by the first lesson of the billing period.

• There are no refunds for missed lessons, two make-ups will be allowed per semester when student must miss.  
  
  

Missed Lessons

• Please give 24 hrs notice for student absences.  

• Without appropriate notice, no make-up lesson will be arranged, but payment is still due.

• Two studio make-up options or time-swap per semester when available.

• If the teacher must cancel, a make-up or credit will be offered.

• If a student is late to the lesson, lessons will still end at scheduled time. (Don't be late!)
  
  

Practice

• Age-appropriate daily practice expectations with written assignments each week.

• Bring all books and assignment sheets to every lesson.
