Lessons are held once a week. The duration of the lesson is strictly determined by the student's age, repertoire, and musical advancement.
Rate: $40/lesson | Tuition: $640/semester or $160/month
Focus: Most young beginners start here. At this stage, pieces are short (30 to 60 seconds), and a child's focus window is sharpest in a concentrated burst. This time is dedicated to building foundational note-reading, rhythm, music theory, and technique.
Rate: $45/lesson | Tuition: $720/semester or $180/month
Focus: Designed for intermediate students or motivated fast-learners. As pieces grow to multiple pages, this extra time allows us expand the curriculum without rushing through weekly pieces. The Enriched Track may include composition, more advanced finger techniques, and improvisation.
Rate: $50/lesson | Tuition: $800/semester or $200/month
Focus: Highly recommended and physically necessary for advanced study. Advanced repertoire can last 5 to 10 minutes for a single piece; playing it just twice would exhaust a shorter lesson. A full hour provides the critical time needed to break down complex artistry, advanced technique, and deep musical interpretation. Note: To support our most dedicated musicians, the Accelerated Track is heavily subsidized to ensure a student's musical growth is never capped by a clock.
Tuition must be paid using one of the following two options:
Option 1: Paid in full before the academic term begins.
Option 2: Paid monthly via 4 installments (due approx. on the 15th of each month, see personal invoice).
Materials Deposit: $50 per academic semester.
Late Fee: $25 if payment is not received by the first lesson of the billing period.
Notice: Please give at least 24 hours notice for student absences. Without appropriate notice, no make-up lesson will be arranged, and payment remains due.
Make-ups: There are no refunds for missed lessons. A maximum of two studio make-ups or time-swaps are allowed per semester, subject to availability.
Teacher Cancellations: If the teacher must cancel a lesson, a make-up session or tuition credit will be offered.
Punctuality: If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time to protect the schedule of subsequent students.
Students are expected to complete age-appropriate daily practice based on their weekly assignments. This time will be recorded in a weekly check-off list.
Students must bring all music books and assignment sheets to every single lesson.
